Note for the attention of Mr Patrick Reis-Ekelund

Following the various steps of the procedure of your professional appraisal and meetings that you have had with the Head of the administrative and financial department on 17 February and with the President of the International Committee of the OIE on 18 February, I have the honour to inform you that in conformity with article 40.12 (d) last paragraph the Administrative Commission has been involved.

The decision of the Administrative Commission is as follows: “regarding the professional appraisal of the Administrative Assistant: the Commission expresses its confidence in the position taken by the Director General.”

Furthermore, kindly submit to me for Tuesday 23 February a note on the evident anomalies found in the accounts of the Regional Representation for the Americas.
